Covered Functions definition

Covered Functions means the functions performed by a covered entity which make the covered entity a health plan, health care clearinghouse, or health care provider.
Covered Functions shall have the same meaning as the termhybrid entity” in 45 CFR §160.103.
Covered Functions means those functions of a covered entity the performance of which makes the entity a health plan, health care provider, or health care clearinghouse.

Covered Functions refers to “Promotional Functions,” “Product Related Functions,” “Specialty Pharmacy Related Functions” and “Contribution and Assistance Related Functions” collectively.
Covered Functions includes: (a) the selling, marketing, advertising, promoting, or branding of Government Reimbursed Products; (b) the preparation or external dissemination of promotional materials or information about, or the provision of services relating to, Government Reimbursed Products, including those functions relating to RMS’s review and approval processes for promotional materials and any applicable review committee(s); (c) the preparation or external dissemination of non- promotional materials about Government Reimbursed Products, including those functions relating to RMS’s review and approval process for any non-promotional materials and any applicable review committees; (d) contracting with health care professionals (HCPs) for consulting services (including but not limited to speaker programs, speaker training programs, training and education services, product development activities, presentations, consultant task force meetings, advisory boards, ad hoc advisory activities, research and any research-related activities, and authorship of articles or other publications relating ot Government Reimbursed Products), or other fee-for service arrangements relating to Government Reimbursed Products; (e) reviewing and/or approving requests for grants or charitable contributions.‌

Covered Functions means performance or supervision of any of the following activities on behalf of Rite Aid: (1) furnishing prescription drugs or other pharmaceutical items or services reimbursed by Federal health care programs; or (2) preparing or submitting claims for prescription drugs or other pharmaceutical items or services reimbursed by Federal health care programs.
Covered Functions means all activities that involve the preparation or submission of Premarket Approval Applications (PMAs) to the FDA and all communications (initial and supplemental) with the FDA about PMAs and the component elements of PMAs, including but not limited to any performance standards applicable to Government Reimbursed Products Advanced Bionics relied upon in those submissions.
Covered Functions means the following services provided for Greenway or on Greenway’s behalf: a. the design, development, marketing, implementation, and/or support of Health IT Software; b. the testing, certification, and/or maintenance of certification (including surveillance and direct review) of Health IT Software, including PrimeSuite, under the ONC Health IT Certification Program, excluding when provided by an ONC- ACB;‌ c. the sale, marketing, licensing, contracting, and/or distribution of Health IT Software; d. the preparation or submission of any attestation, application, report, or other communication relating to Health IT Software to ONC, an ONC-ACB (as defined in Section II.C.13), an ONC-Authorized Testing Lab (ONC-ATL), or any other person or entity authorized to administer requirements of the ONC Health IT Certification Program; e. the preparation or submission of any attestation, report or other data for submission to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) (including the preparation, delivery, and submission of data that Greenway provides to its customers to submit to CMS); f. handling, assessing, and/or responding to Greenway customer complaints and alerts, including any potential and identified Patient Safety Issues (as defined below) related to Health IT Software; g. tracking and/or taking corrective actions in response to potential and identified Certification Issues (as defined below) and other issues with Health IT Software;
Covered Functions includes: (a) the selling, marketing, advertising, promoting, or branding of Government Reimbursed Products; (b) the preparation or external dissemination of promotional materials or information about, or the provision of services relating to, Government Reimbursed Products; (c) the preparation or external dissemination of non-promotional materials about Government Reimbursed Products, including those functions relating to Respironics’ review and approval process for any non-promotional materials; (d) contracting with durable medical equipment suppliers (DME Suppliers) or health care professionals (HCPs) for consulting services (including but not limited to speaker programs, speaker training programs, training and education services, product development activities, presentations, consultant task force meetings, advisory boards, ad hoc advisory activities, research and any research-related activities, and authorship of articles or other publications relating to Government Reimbursed Products), or other fee-for-service arrangements relating to Government Reimbursed Products; (e) entering into arrangements with HCPs or DME Suppliers for any Co-Marketing Activity (as defined in Section II.C.11 below) and (f) reviewing and/or approving requests for grants or charitable contributions.‌
