Database Data. Data Protection Legislation" "Data Protection Regulator" “Data Subject(s)" means the Expert Data and Case Data provided by the Data Contributors and other data as determined by MedCo from time to time; means all applicable data protection and privacy legislation, regulations and guidance including: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "General Data Protection Regulation" or the "GDPR") and Data Protection ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ (or, in the event that the UK leaves the European Union, all legislation enacted in the UK in respect of the protection of personal data) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and any applicable guidance or codes of practice issued by any Data Protection Regulator from time to time (all as amended, updated or re-enacted from time to time); means the Information Commissioner’s Office, the Article 29 Working Party, the European Data Protection Board and any other supervisory authority with jurisdiction over either Party, and in each case any successor body from time to time; shall have the meaning set out in the Data Protection Legislation; "Direct Financial Links" “Direct Medical Expert” / “DME” means a relationship between the IME and another party which the MoJ has determined constitutes a direct financial link (or as amended from time to time and set out at ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇, covering a relationship between the IME and any Law Firm, Insurer or personal injury claims management company with which IME has a contract of service or by which IME is employed to provide medical legal reports in: (a) soft tissue injury claims within the meaning of paragraph 1.1(16A) of the Pre-Action Protocol for Low Value Personal Injury Claims in Road Traffic Accidents; and (b) road traffic accident related personal injury claims, valued at not more than £5,000, to which the Pre-Action Protocol for Personal Injury Claims Below the Small Claims Limit in Road Traffic Accidents applies. a medical expert who will accept instructions direct from an Authorised User or Claimant to complete a relevant medico- medical legal report.
