Enabling Work definition

Enabling Work shall have the meaning set forth in the Recitals of this Agreement. “Enabling Work Agreement” shall have the meaning set forth in the Recitals of this Agreement.
Enabling Work means site preparation necessary for the development, construction, use, operation, and maintenance of the Stadium, including without limitation the installation of on- site utilities for the Stadium Site and the Stadium Village, on-site environmental remediation for the Stadium Site, and the relocation of utility lines necessary to facilitate the Project Improvements and all design costs related thereto.
Enabling Work means certain preliminary development and site activities related to the Project Improvements undertaken by StadCo prior to the effective date of the Deed.

Examples of Enabling Work in a sentence

  • Without limiting StadCo’s obligations under Section 7.9, Section 7.10 or elsewhere in this Agreement, StadCo shall, prior to the commencement of construction of the Project Improvements (excluding the Enabling Work), provide the Authority with a Project Improvements Construction Schedule.

  • With the exclusion of all Enabling Work which is performed pursuant to the Enabling Work Agreement, StadCo shall not do or permit others to do any Project Improvements Work unless and until (i) StadCo shall have first procured and paid for applicable permits, licenses, and approvals then required under Applicable Law to commence the specific work being performed and (ii) StadCo has complied with the Insurance Covenants.

  • Effective as of the commencement of any Stadium Project Improvements Work (excluding Enabling Work) and at all times prior to Final Completion of such Stadium Project Improvements Work, StadCo shall, cause to be maintained insurance of the types and amounts which are reasonably prudent considering the nature and extent of such work but not less than the coverages required in the Design-Build Agreement and the AOR Agreement.

  • In accordance with Section 29(2)(i) of the Act, StadCo shall pay or cause to be paid for all work performed and material furnished in connection with the Enabling Work so as to keep the Property free and clear of all liens arising out of the performance of the Enabling Work.

  • Subject to the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement, the Authority hereby approves (a) the scope of the Enabling Work and (b) StadCo’s performance of the Enabling Work in accordance with this Agreement and the Act.

  • StadCo shall furnish to the Authority monthly construction status progress reports regarding the progress of the Enabling Work, such reports to be in a form mutually acceptable to the Authority and StadCo.

  • StadCo shall be solely responsible for the payment of all costs and expenses incurred in connection with the performance and completion of the Enabling Work (the “Enabling Work Costs”), and StadCo hereby releases the Authority from any and all responsibility and liability to pay any Enabling Work Costs or to perform any Enabling Work.

  • StadCo shall take all measures and precautions reasonably necessary to minimize damage, disruption, and inconvenience caused by the Enabling Work in a manner as a reasonable and prudent developer would undertake in light of the particular circumstances, which shall include making adequate provisions for the safety and convenience of all persons and property to be affected thereby.

  • All Enabling Work shall be (i) constructed and performed in a good and workmanlike manner in accordance with standard construction practices for construction, repair, renewal, renovation, demolition, rebuilding, addition or alteration, as the case may be applicable to comparable work, (ii) constructed and performed using qualified workers and subcontractors in accordance with the terms of this Agreement and the Act, and (iii) constructed and performed in accordance with all applicable laws.


More Definitions of Enabling Work

Enabling Work shall have the meaning set forth in the Recitals of this Agreement.
Enabling Work is defined as (a) work required outside of the primary construction area of a given phase, including installation of temporary office trailers, to develop space to which occupants located within the primary construction area will be relocated prior to commencement of primary construction, or (b) work within the primary construction area that must be completed prior to commencement of primary construction, that will be required in advance of the three primary phases of construction to facilitate construction sequencing or other strategic purposes. Enabling work will be validated and identified during the preliminary design phase. Conceptual documents will be prepared to confirm a workable solution prior to the preparation of construction documents in the next phase of completion.

Related to Enabling Work

  • Project Schedule means a document that, with respect to each Phase of the Project, identifies, coordinates and integrates the anticipated design and construction schedules, the Contracting Authority’s and Owner's responsibilities, government authority reviews and other activities as are necessary for the timely completion of the Work.

  • The Work means the work or works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Grant-Making Work means such work and activities relating to the management of grants outsourced to the Partner as described in the Partner Project Document. Grant-Making Work may be one component of a broader project, or the sole purpose of the project. Grant-Making Work may also include project design, project management and grant administration, monitoring and evaluation.

  • Multiregional Modeling Working Group or “MMWG” shall mean the NERC working group that is charged with multi-regional modeling.

  • Project Milestones means the Project milestones set out in Schedule 3;
