Insurable Improvements definition
Insurable Improvements means the “Buildings” as defined in Article 1.7 of this Declaration, less upgrades or additions by Unit Owners (or their predecessors in title) and those portions of the Condominium Property required by the Act to be insured by the Association. If a Unit Owner has replaced any glass with impact glass which meets the applicable code at the time of such replacement, such glass and its related framework shall be considered part of the Insurable Improvements, unless prohibited by law.

Whenever a portion of the Condominium Property insured by the Association is replaced by the Association or a Unit Owner with installations intended to comply with then current codes or safety standards, such replacements shall be considered of like kind and quality and the continuing insuring responsibility of the Association. Notwithstanding any interpretation of a provision of the Condominium Documents to the contrary, it is the intention of this Declaration that all Insurable Improvements shall be insured by the Association.
