Intention to return to work definition

Intention to return to work means a written or oral, formal or informal agreement has been made with the plan sponsor to return to work on a full time, part time or temporary basis at the time the severance is effective. If a participant returns to work with the plan sponsor within 30 calendar days of severance, then a rebuttable presumption exists that the participant intended to return to work as of the date of severance.

Examples of Intention to return to work in a sentence

  • The employee agrees to notify the Employer of her or his Intention to return to work at least ten (10) weeks prior to the date of such return.

  • The employee shall notify the Hospital of his Intention to return to work at least four (4) weeks prior to the date of such return.

  • The employee shall reconfirm her Intention to return to work on the date provided to the Hospital by written notification to be received by the Hospital at least two weeks in advance thereof.

  • The employee agrees to notify the Residence of their Intention to return to work at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of such return.

  • The employee agrees to notify the of Intention to return to work at least four (4) weeks prior to the date of such return.

  • An employee shall reconfirm his or her Intention to return to work on the date originally approved subsection above by written notification received by the Hospital at least two weeks advance thereof.

  • Notwithstanding paragraph an employee on maternity leave, adoption leave or leave who has notified the Employer of their Intention to return to work pursuant to Articles and and who subsequently suffers any illness or disability which prevents them from returning to work as scheduled, whether or not such illness or disability related to pregnancy, shall be entitled to sick leave benefits commencing on the first day on which the employee would otherwise have returned to work.

  • Invitation to Negotiate means a written solicitation for competitive sealed replies to select one or more vendors with which to commence negotiations for the procurement of commodities or services.
