Performance of Work definition

Performance of Work means the execution of a work through exhibition, playing music, reciting, narrating, acting, dancing or any other means whether directly or through any means or device.
Performance of Work. All work performed hereunder shall be performed in accordance with Good Utility Practice and applicable Law and with the same degree of care and skill as the Party performing such work exercises in performing similar work for itself. The Party responsible for any work hereunder shall have the right to utilize the services of subcontractors of its choosing for purposes thereof.
Performance of Work. All work shall be performed at the highest level of quality. The Owner shall be responsible for determining the quality of work, and may notify the Contractor of same. ANY WORK COMPLETED THAT IS NOT SUITABLE TO THE OWNER SHALL BE REPEATED BY THE CONTRACTOR AT NO COST TO THE OWNER. Any damage to existing area or utilities will be the responsibility of the Contractor. NO EXCEPTIONS. The Buncombe County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any or no reason, and to waive informalities. Section 00 In accordance with G.S. 143-128, these guidelines establish goals for minority participation in single-prime and separate-prime school construction contracts. The legislation provides that public bodies shall have a verifiable percentage goal for participation by minority businesses in the total value of work for each project for which a contract or contracts are awarded. These guidelines are published to accomplish that end.

Examples of Performance of Work in a sentence

  • Performance of Work on this Contract must begin on the date stipulated in the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and must be completed within the time specified in the Contract Documents, subject to such extensions as may be authorized.

  • Timely Performance of Work: The owner agrees to begin work no later than the date for commencement of work as stated in Section 1.4. In the event the work is not commenced, diligently continued and completed as required under this Agreement, the PHA may terminate this Agreement or take other appropriate action.

  • Bargaining Unit 8 employees, who volunteer for assignment to an Incident Management Team pursuant to Section 8.15 Performance of Work of the MOU, are making an irrevocable commitment to remain on the team, if selected, for a period of 2 years.

  • The Certification of Completion shall include a Certification of Expenditures, Certification of Performance of Work, and Certification that Work Performed Met or Exceeded CEQA and other Environmental Laws.

  • Performance of Work by OWNER pursuant to this Section 11.4 shall not relieve CONTRACTOR of any of its obligations under this Agreement with respect to such Work if and to the extent such Work is performed in accordance with Section 3.14.

  • Performance of Work: Supervisors and other non-bargaining unit employees will not normally perform the duties of employees in the bargaining unit, except in emergency situations, for familiarization, or for the purpose of instructing employees.

Related to Performance of Work

  • Completion of work means completion of the entire contracted work. Exhaustion of quantity of any particular item mentioned in the bid document shall not imply completion of work or any component thereof.

  • Scope of Work means the description of Services and Deliverables specified in the Contract and as may be amended.

  • Statement of Work means the description of activities Grantee must perform to complete the Project, as specified in the Grant Agreement, and as may be amended.

  • SOW means the document specifying, without limitation, the scope, objective, and time frame of the Work that Supplier will perform for Cisco.

  • Work Order means an individually negotiated document that is executed by both Parties and which authorizes a Project, if any, in an indefinite quantity Contract.
