Rest Between Shifts Sample Clauses

The "Rest Between Shifts" clause establishes a minimum required period of time that must elapse between the end of one work shift and the start of the next for an employee. Typically, this clause specifies a set number of hours—such as 8 or 12—during which the employee cannot be scheduled to work, ensuring they have adequate time to rest and recover. By mandating this rest period, the clause helps prevent employee fatigue, promotes health and safety, and ensures compliance with labor regulations regarding working hours.
