Unbundled Network Element or “UNE” is as defined in Attachment 6 Unbundled Network Elements

  • Each Party will provide the other Party with access to its databases and associated signaling necessary for the routing and completion of the other Party’s traffic in accordance with the provisions contained in the Unbundled Network Element Attachment or applicable access tariff.

Unbundled Network Element. (UNE) is a Network Element that has been defined by the FCC or the Commission as a Network Element to which Qwest is obligated under Section 251(c)(3) of the Act to provide unbundled access, for which unbundled access is required under section 271 of the Act or applicable state law, or for which unbundled access is provided under this Agreement. Unbundled Network Elements do not include those Network Elements Qwest is obligated to provide only pursuant to Section 271 of the Act.

Unbundled Network Element means a network element, as defined in 47 U.S.C. s. 153(29), to which access is provided on an unbundled basis pursuant to 47 U.S.C. s. 251(c)(3).
