ACCESS TO ROOMS. The College reserves the right, at the discretion of the Vice President of Student Affairs and/or their designee, to enter a room when there is probable cause to believe that there may be a concern regarding policy violations or the health, safety, and/or welfare of the resident and/or any member of the student body. Failure to abide by these policies and regulations will result in disciplinary action as prescribed by the Springfield College Student Handbook. College personnel including, but not limited to, Residence Life staff, Facilities and Campus Services Department (FACS), and contracted personnel may enter the rooms for maintenance purposes and to inspect vacancies. When feasible, students will be notified in advance. The resident is not required to be present at the time of entry. The Residence Life staff may conduct Health and Safety room inspections at least twice per semester and are not required to provide notice, though they may choose to do so.
ACCESS TO ROOMS. The University shall at all times during the term of this Contract retain legal ownership and ultimate possession and control of the Student’s room and/or University property assigned to such room. Residence Life reserves the right to maintain and preserve the residence halls. The Student hereby understands and agrees that authorized personnel may enter the Student’s room at any reasonable time for life, safety, or health threatening emergencies; to perform requested or preventative maintenance; to respond to a cry for help or the smell of smoke; or to investigate potential policy violation(s). The Student hereby authorizes access by Residence Life personnel when any law enforcement officer possessing a facially valid search or arrest warrant requests access.
ACCESS TO ROOMS. 13.1 The Landlord or his representatives, agents, servants and contractors may at all reasonable times, without giving rights to any claim or right of action on the part of the Resident: 13.1.1 enter the Room due to a presumption of breaching of the Fountain Rez House Rules or for hygiene matters or for security reasons or in order to inspect it or to carry out any maintenance, repairs, replacements or other works or to perform any other function in the bona fide interest of the Landlord. 13.1.2 carry out elsewhere on the Premises, necessary repairs, replacements and other works all to maintain the exterior of the Building and the Communal Areas and keep it in good order and condition. 13.2 The Landlord shall ensure that this right is exercised with due regard for, and a minimum of interference with, the beneficial enjoyment of the Room by the Resident.
ACCESS TO ROOMS. The COLLEGE shall have exclusive use of all rooms provided for COLLEGE classes on the days and times once they are agreed upon by both parties as stated herein. The COLLEGE shall not have early access to rooms for instruction unless prior written approval from the Superintendent of the DISTRICT or designee is obtained. The DISTRICT shall grant the COLLEGE reasonable access prior to 6:00 p.m. for any necessary set up or preparation. Except in cases of an emergency, no one affiliated with the DISTRICT shall interrupt any of the classes or interfere with any student, teacher or administrator attending said classes for any reason, without advance written notice to an authorized representative of the COLLEGE.

ACCESS TO ROOMS. 8.1 The Company and its authorised representatives, agents and contractors shall be entitled at all reasonable times to enter the Room for the purpose of carrying out any inspection or effecting any necessary repair. 8.2 The Company shall exercise its right of access with reasonable regard for the Occupant’s right to undisturbed occupation. The Occupant acknowledges that such access shall not give rise to any claim or right of action on the part of the Occupant. 8.3 Occupants shall be required to sign out when they will be away for more than three consecutive nights. There is a book at Reception for such purposes.

ACCESS TO ROOMS. By signing a Licence or Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement, you agree to give the Village Team access on the following basis: In an emergency (including to conduct urgent repairs and maintenance that are an imminent threat to life or property) Without notice To conduct repairs and maintenance which you have requested in the Flat Common Areas Without notice To conduct repairs and maintenance which you have requested in the Room/Flat (as applicable) 48 hours (unless you give us explicit consent to attend without further notice when submitting a maintenance request) To conduct general repairs and maintenance 48 hours To inspect the Flat Common Areas Without notice To inspect the Room/Flat 48 hours To show the Room/Flat to prospective residents and/or on University Open Days 48 hours To access, clean, and/or conduct general repairs and maintenance as required to a vacant room in your Flat As much notice as reasonably practicable To access and clean the Flat Common Areas in anticipation of a vacant room in your Flat becoming occupied As much notice as reasonably practicable Where notice is required to be given pursuant to the above, the Village Team will not be able to specify the exact time or day that access will be required, but rather a time period in which the entry may take place.
ACCESS TO ROOMS a. The University reserves the right to enter any student’s room at any time that a health, safety, maintenance and/or damage inspection of the premises is deemed necessary. The University reserves the right to remove or confiscate any items that are hazardous to the building or its occupants.
ACCESS TO ROOMS. City of York Council representatives have a right to enter your accommodation in order to ensure that anything needing attention can be dealt with and to ensure that you are using the accommodation provided in a safe manner. This includes smoke detectors and fire notices.
