– Accumulated Hours Limitation. It is the intent that all annual vacation days for two hundred sixty (260)-day employees shall be used during each work year (September 1 through August 31). Each full-time two hundred sixty (260)-day employee shall be allowed to accumulate unused vacation days not to exceed two hundred forty (240) hours of earned vacation. The vacation balances shall be calculated once a year on the last day of the work year (August 31). Requests for an exception to the two hundred forty (240) -hour accumulations will require a statement of necessity to be completed by the supervisor and approved by the superintendent. Upon termination of employment, whether due to resignation, dismissal, retirement, or death, employees, or their estates, if they are deceased, may be paid their current per diem rate for up to two hundred forty (240) hours of earned unused vacation.

  • Minimum Call-Back Time All employees who are called out and required to work in an emergency outside their regular working hours shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours at overtime rates and shall be paid from the time they leave home to report for duty until the time they arrive back upon proceeding directly from work.

  • Maximum Accumulation An employee may accumulate earned leave, excluding the separate vacation balance, if any, to a maximum of twice their annual time management accumulation. As of the end of the pay period in which March 31 falls in each year, any employee credited with accrued leave greater than twice their annual leave accumulation shall forfeit that amount above their maximum accumulation. An employee who has acquired the maximum allowable accumulation of earned leave may continue to accumulate earned leave for the balance of the year in which the maximum accrual was reached, provided, however, that the employee must reduce the accumulation to the maximum allowable prior to the following March 31 or forfeit the excess.

  • Reallocation to a Class with a Lower Salary Range Maximum 1. If the employee meets the skills and abilities requirements of the position and chooses to remain in the reallocated position, the employee retains the existing appointment status and has the right to be placed on the Employer’s internal layoff list for the classification occupied prior to the reallocation. 2. If the employee chooses to vacate the position or does not meet the skills and abilities requirements of the position, the layoff procedure specified in Article 31 of this Agreement applies.

  • Accumulated Sick Leave ‌ The Employer shall inform all employees at least once each year of the number of sick days accumulated and shall make the information available to an employee on request.

  • Indemnity Limitation for TIPS Sales Texas and other jurisdictions restrict the ability of governmental entities to indemnify others. Vendor agrees that if any "Indemnity" provision which requires the TIPS Member to indemnify Vendor is included in any TIPS sales agreement/contract between Vendor and a TIPS Member, that clause must either be stricken or qualified by including that such indemnity is only permitted, "to the extent permitted by the laws and constitution of [TIPS Member's State]” unless the TIPS Member expressly agrees otherwise. Any TIPS Sale Supplemental Agreement containing an "Indemnity" clause that conflicts with these terms is rendered void and unenforceable.
