Additional Needs Sample Clauses

The "Additional Needs" clause defines the process for addressing requirements or services that go beyond the original scope of an agreement. It typically outlines how parties can request extra work, the approval process for such requests, and any adjustments to timelines or costs that may result. For example, if a client needs extra features or services not initially included, this clause specifies how those needs are communicated and incorporated. Its core function is to provide a clear, structured method for managing changes, ensuring both parties understand how additional requests are handled and reducing the risk of disputes over scope or compensation.

Additional Needs. At Skool Is Out we are committed to offering support for children of all abilities and needs. Prior to registration we request parents/carers identify any additional needs your child/ren may have, or any support they may require, in advance of commencing after school or holiday care with us. This enables us to ensure reasonable adjustments can be made and that appropriate levels of support are in place to ensure each child’s individual needs can be met, where possible. We will require a detailed Care Plan to be completed for each child in advance of commencing childcare, and this is completed collaboratively between senior after school club staff and parents/carers. We may also liaise with the child’s school to ensure consistency of approach and that appropriate support measures are in place. If deemed necessary after further assessment, we can seek funding and guidance from Capability Scotland’s Edinburgh Childcare 4 All initiative, in order to provide additional needs support to identified children to ensure their inclusion in our club environments. If a child requires this level of support we will work with parents/carers, as well as Capability Scotland, to put into place a Care Plan specific to the needs of the child. The level of support required varies from child to child, and it is important that all children’s additional needs are considered individually so that the appropriate level of support can be provided, where possible. Skool Is Out works closely with local schools and Capability Scotland to implement any necessary provisions to ensure that, wherever possible, children with disabilities or additional support needs can participate fully in the life of the club. Please be aware that there may be some circumstances whereby we are unable to ensure the appropriate levels of support are in place, depending on individual children’s defined care needs and our ability as a childcare provider to meet these. The wellbeing of the children in our care is our number one priority. Skool Is Out will always seek to exhaust all options and make reasonable adjustments to accommodate all children within our after school and holiday club environments, wherever possible. As per our organisation’s policies and procedures, we request that all initial after school care fees are paid in advance of childcare by the date indicated on your fee invoice, and that subsequent fees are paid by the 1st of each month for the remainder of the academic year. Childcare fees are s...
