Age and Grade Range. The Charter School shall provide instruction to students in grades K through five (5). The age requirements for students in any grade shall be the same as applicable state law, if any.

Age and Grade Range. (i) For each school year covered by this Contract, enrollment shall be open to any child eligible to attend grades served subject to state law (ORS 338.125). (ii) As provided in state law, (ORS 338.115(5)), TLCS shall maintain an active enrollment of at least twenty-five (25) students. The District may terminate this Contract at a trimester break if student enrollment in TLCS falls and remains below 25 students for thirty (30) days or longer during any school year. (iii) Each grade at TLCS shall be capped at 21 students. No student who is a resident of the district will be denied admittance based on the cap. Students from outside the District may be admitted as space allows. This cap may be adjusted upon written approval by the District and TLCS board members. This cap will be automatically increased by one (to a maximum of 23) if a sibling of a current student who attended in the previous year applies to attend and enrollment in that grade is already at its cap. If there are more applications than spaces available, an equitable lottery system will be used to determine who will be admitted.

(ii) PBCCS may provide instruction to students in grades K-6 during the 2010-2011 school year. K-7 during the 2011-2012 and K-8 in the 2012-2013 school year. (iii) As provided in Oregon State Statutes, currently ORS 338.115(5), PBCCS shall maintain an active enrollment of at least twenty-five (25) full-time students. The District may terminate this Contract with 30 days notice if student enrollment in PBCCS falls below 25 students for thirty (30) days or longer during any school year. (iv) The total maximum enrollment for the first year of operation shall not exceed 146 enrolled students, inclusive of students in grades K-6 and 166 students during the 2011-2012 academic year inclusive of grades K-7 and third year (2012-2013) 186 students in grades K-8. The students shall reside within the District boundary; however, if PBCCS has not reached maximum enrollment in a given year, students from outside the District boundary may be admitted as space allows. The student cap would also be limited by fire code as to occupancy, whichever is less, fixed cap by Contract or occupancy number as regulated by fire department or another government agency or mitigating circumstances associated with the facility.
Age and Grade Range. For the 2009-10 school year, Community Roots shall provide instruction to students in grades 1st through 3rd, not to exceed 30 students. For the 2010-11 school year, Community Roots shall provide instruction to students in grades K through 4th, not to exceed 50 students. For the 2011-12 school year, Community Roots will provide instruction to students in grades K-5th, not to exceed 60 students. In years two and three, kindergartners will not exceed one third of the total classroom student population. Silver Falls School District acknowledges Community Roots right to request amendment of these enrollment numbers and potential grade configurations.
Age and Grade Range. (i) During its first year of operation, the Charter School may provide instruction to students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. In subsequent years, the Charter School may add grades to those served in the first year, including kindergarten and up to and including twelfth grade. The Charter School will notify District by April 1st of each year regarding which grades will be added the following school year. (ii) As provided in state law, currently ORS 338.115(5), the Charter School shall maintain an active enrollment of at least twenty-five (25) students. The total maximum enrollment will not exceed 250. (iii) The Forest Grove Community School shall follow District policy regarding age and admission eligibility for kindergarten and first grade students.
Age and Grade Range i. For the duration of the 2020-2025 contract, total enrollment for CLA shall not exceed 335. Any additional students, housed in any facility, must be agreed upon by both parties prior to March 1st of each year to accommodate staffing needs. (total enrollment may be increased or decreased only upon mutual agreement of the two parties)
Age and Grade Range. (i) The Forest Grove Community School shall operate as a kindergarten through eighth grade (K-8) charter school. (a) If the Forest Grove Community School wishes to extend its grade level offerings beyond the eighth grade, it may only do so at the beginning of an academic year and if it has the approval of the District. (b) In order to extend its grade level offerings, the Forest Grove Community School must provide written notice to the District by March 1st that it intends to offer additional grade levels the following school year. (c) The District shall provide to the Forest Grove Community School by April 1st a list of any additional information the District would need in order to determine if the Forest Grove Community School may provide academic offerings beyond the eighth grade. (d) The District shall review the written request and any additional information provided by the Forest Grove Community School and issue a written decision to the Forest Grove Community School within sixty (60) days of receiving the written request. The District shall base its decision using the following criteria: • The capability of the Forest Grove Community School, in terms of support and planning, to provide a comprehensive instructional program to students beyond the eighth grade; • The capability of the Forest Grove Community School to comply with all state requirements concerning Common Curriculum Goals, Essential Learning Skills and academic content standards as defined in ORS 329.045 and administrative rules adopted by the Oregon Department of Education for curricular offerings beyond the eighth grade; • The capability of the Forest Grove Community School to provide an instructional program to students beyond the eighth grade that meets the requirements of the High School Diploma as described in OAR 581-022-1130, or the Modified Diploma as described in OAR 581-022-1134 for those students who qualify for the Modified Diploma under OAR 581-022-1134(3); • The ability of the Forest Grove Community School to demonstrate that adding any grade offerings beyond the eighth grade will not jeopardize the financial stability of the Forest Grove Community School; and • The ability of the Forest Grove Community School to provide special education and related to services to students with disabilities that may wish to attend the Forest Grove Community School beyond the eighth grade class offerings.
