AUTHORISED ROLLINGSTOCK CONFIGURATIONS Sample Clauses

The 'Authorised Rollingstock Configurations' clause defines the specific arrangements or types of rollingstock (such as trains or carriages) that are permitted for use under the agreement. It typically outlines the technical specifications, operational parameters, or approved models that may be operated on a particular rail network or within a project. By clearly listing which configurations are authorised, this clause ensures safety, compatibility, and regulatory compliance, while preventing the use of unapproved or potentially unsafe rollingstock.
AUTHORISED ROLLINGSTOCK CONFIGURATIONS. The Operator must provide a certificate from a suitably qualified person as per clause 6.9, certifying that the Rollingstock Configurations are compliant with the Interface Risk Management Plan (including the Rollingstock Interface Standards), or if non- compliances exist, can be operated to an acceptable level of risk by implementing the relevant controls in the Interface Risk Management Plan. Other controls listed in the Interface Risk Management Plan relevant to the compatibility of Rollingstock Configurations with the Network must also be implemented in order to gain authorisation. Upon receipt of the above certifications, Aurizon Network will authorise the Rollingstock Configurations by issuing Train Route Acceptance Certificates (annexed hereto as Annexure ‘A’). The Train Route Acceptance Certificates describe the authorised Rollingstock Configurations in terms of the maximum Train parameters available for the route/s specified on the Train Route Acceptance Certificates and all suitable arrangements and combinations of available authorised Rollingstock that will still ensure train route compatibility.
