Bargaining Agents Fee Clause Samples

The Bargaining Agents Fee clause establishes the obligation for certain parties, typically employees or members of a bargaining unit, to pay fees to the union or bargaining agent that represents them in negotiations with the employer. This fee may be required even if the individual is not a union member, as long as they benefit from the collective bargaining agreement. In practice, the clause ensures that the costs of representation and negotiation are shared among all those who benefit, preventing free-riding and supporting the financial stability of the bargaining agent.
