Bus Driver Differential. Any position which requires a unit member to possess a California School Bus Driver's Certificate shall receive a differential of 5% of his regular hourly rate of pay. (The differential shall not apply to positions in which driving a school bus is the primary responsibility.) Unit members in positions covered by this provision shall be reimbursed any licensing fee actually required and paid to renew their School Bus Driver's Certificate.
Bus Driver Differential. Drivers who operate a bus will given a $1 per hour pay differential. This applies to the time when a driver is actually driving a designated bus route. Bus Drivers will receive reimbursement for washing vehicles at the rate of $15.00 for a car or van and $18.00 for yellow/black buses. Payment shall be made at the discretion of the Director of Transportation. Full credit will be granted for pay purposes only for total time on schedule when transferred from a local district to LCISD. Drivers will be granted seniority for purposes of driving busses and vans. Drivers transferred from local districts who are fully endorsed will forego probation. Hourly pay will start at Rate 1. When lay-offs become necessary, drivers with least seniority will be laid off first. The LCISD Board of Education shall require that each Driver's, prior to being hired, shall possess the following: (1) Current Chauffeur's License. (2) Current Bus Driver Certificate. (3) Medical Exam prior to the beginning of the current school year performed by a physician selected by the Board. The Board will pay 100% of the cost of such physical. This physical must pertain to the requirements as set forth by the State of Michigan for bus driver certification. (4) Driver in-service programs required by the LCISD will be reimbursed at their hourly rate.

  • Bilingual Differential When formally assigned in the employee’s position description, an employee assigned to interpret to or from another language to English will receive a differential of five percent (5%) of base pay.

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration.   • Night Shift Differential Unit 12 employees who regularly work shifts shall receive a night shift differential as set forth below: A. Employees shall qualify for the first night shift pay differential of forty (40) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift falls between 6 p.m. and 12 midnight. B. Employees shall qualify for the second night shift pay differential of fifty (50) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. C. A "regularly scheduled work shift" are those regularly assigned work hours established by the department director or designee.

  • Night Differential An employee shall be paid a night differential, bi-weekly for hours worked between midnight and 7:00 a.m. at a rate of $3.00 per hour. Night differential worked during overtime will be paid at one and one-half (1 ½) times $3.00 and on statutory holidays at two (2) times $3.00.
