The Calculation of Subscription Fee clause defines how the amount payable for a subscription service is determined. Calculation of Subscription Fee. During the Term, the IPTV Operator shall pay to ZEEL, the Subscription Fee which shall be calculated on a monthly basis in the manner set out in ANNEXURE V.

(i) If the IPTV OPERATOR is providing the channels on A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ basis to its subscribers, the Monthly Subscription Fee for such A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ channel(s) shall be equal to “ZEEL’s Share of MRP” of that A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ Channel multiplied by the number of Monthly Average Active Subscriber Level reported by the IPTV OPERATOR for that month for that particular Zee Group Channel(s).

(i) If the MSO is providing the channels on A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ basis to its subscribers, the Monthly Subscription Fee for such A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ channel(s) shall be equal to “ZEEL’s Share of MRP” of that A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ Channel multiplied by the number of Monthly Average Active Subscriber Level reported by the MSO for that month for that particular Zee Group Channel(s).

Calculation of Subscription Fee. (a) In case DPO/ OPERATOR avails one or more or all ZMCL Channels on A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ basis:
(i) If the DPO/ OPERATOR is providing the channels on A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ basis to its subscribers, the Monthly Subscription Fee for such A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ channel(s) shall be equal to “ZMCL’s Share of MRP” of that A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ Channel multiplied by the number of Monthly Average Active Subscriber Level reported by the DPO/ OPERATOR for that month for that particular ZMCL Channel(s). If DPO/ OPERATOR has opted for Zee News on A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ Basis and the Monthly Average Active Subscriber Level for a particular month reported by the DPO/ OPERATOR is 10,000 subscribers for Zee News, then the Subscription Fee payable by the DPO/ OPERATOR for that particular month for Zee News will be calculated as: MRP of Zee News = Rs. 00.10 Monthly Average Active Subscriber Level for Zee News reported by DPO/ OPERATOR= 10,000 subscribers for that month = Rs. 00.08 x 10,000 = Rs. 800/- Note: The MRP and Subscription Fee mentioned hereinabove is exclusive of applicable taxes and levies.
(ii) If the DPO/ OPERATOR does not offer such opted A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ channel(s) on A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ basis to its subscriber but offers the A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ channel(s) in packages of the DPO/ OPERATOR, then the Subscription Fee for each of the A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ channels availed by DPO/ OPERATOR, shall be calculated on the basis of Monthly Average Active Subscriber Level of the package in which such opted A-▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ channel has been placed multiplied by “ZMCL’s Share of MRP” of each channel(s).
