Common use of Campus Closure Clause in Contracts

Campus Closure. Where the College declares an official campus closure due to an emergency or inclement weather, employees required to work during the closure shall be paid at the regular rate and receive equivalent time off at straight time, scheduled at a mutually agreeable time. Employees not required to work during the closure shall be paid according to their regular rates as though they were at work.

Campus Closure. Where the College declares an official campus closure due to an emergency or inclement weather, employees who are required by the College to work during the closure shall be paid at the regular rate of time and one-half and receive equivalent time off to a maximum of one working day in lieu per day of closure, at straight time, scheduled at a mutually agreeable time. Employees not required to work during the closure shall be paid according to their regular rates as though they were at work.
