CDL Reimbursement. The City agrees to reimburse employees required to maintain a commercial driver’s license for the renewal of such CDL to the extent it exceeds the cost of a regular operator’s license, not to exceed $25.00 every four years. This applies only to required periodic renewals, and not to costs for loss, suspension, etc.
CDL Reimbursement. SECTION 1. The Employer shall reimburse the employee for the cost of a 4-year renewal of the CDL. SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT VOLUNTARY DISPUTE SETTLEMENT PROCEDURE The parties hereto enter into this Supplemental Agreement for the purpose of promoting cooperation and continuous harmonious relations between the County Engineer, his employees and their representative, the Union, in consideration of the promises, obligations and undertakings of each party as herein contained, agree as follows:
1. If the parties are unable to reach agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement or modification prior to fifty (50) days before the expiration date of the current collective bargaining agreement, the parties adopt the following procedure:
(A) The parties shall request mediation by seeking the services and assistance of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, or if the parties mutually agree in writing, the Bureau of Mediation of the Ohio State Employees Relations Board. Such request for mediation must be in writing, signed by at least one party, and submitted no later than forty six (46) days prior to the expiration of the current collective bargaining agreement.
(B) After mediation is requested, negotiations shall be conducted using the mediation service to the extent available for the agency chosen until the termination date of the current collective bargaining agreement or any extension thereof or so long as negotiations on a new collective bargaining agreement continues. Nothing herein shall prevent parties from meeting for purposes of negotiation during this period in the absence of the representative of the mediation service.
2. This agreement shall be effective on the date executed by both parties.
3. The following provisions shall govern termination of this Agreement:
(A) This Agreement may not be canceled, revoked or terminated during the term of the current collective bargaining agreement between the parties or while negotiations for a new collective bargaining or any contract modification are being conducted.
(B) This Agreement may be terminated during the term of any succeeding collective bargaining agreement by giving notice to the other party between the period of 210 to 180 calendar days prior to the termination date of any succeeding collective bargaining agreement. This notice must be in writing and must be sent certified mail with a return receipt requested or hand delivered.

CDL Reimbursement. A. Some employees are required to have a commercial driver’s license (CDL) because job requirements for their position requires a CDL. Those positions will carry a $250.00 annual license incentive. This payment will be paid annually, the first paycheck in December.
B. Employees terminating during the course of the year will be paid the incentive on a pro-rata basis calculated on their length of employment up to their date of termination.
C. Employees in CDL job classifications are required to comply with the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations governing drug and alcohol testing.
CDL Reimbursement. The Board will reimburse regularly employed Bargaining Unit Members who drive bus for the school district for renewal of their C.D.L. License, Bus Driver physicals performed by a Board-approved physician, criminal I.D. check (fingerprinting) if and when needed after initial employment, and the direct cost of administering a Drug Test if and when mandated by State or Federal Law.
CDL Reimbursement. The district will pay for the cost of classroom training and books associated with maintaining a driver’s Commercial Driver’s License.
CDL Reimbursement. The Board agrees to reimburse bus drivers for the documented cost of the CDL license with the appropriate school bus and passenger endorsements. Mechanics only will be required to drive students in an emergency situation (i.e., bus breakdown or bus accident).
CDL Reimbursement. Upon receipt of appropriate documentation, the Employer will reimburse employees who are required to have and maintain a commercial driver’s license for the cost. However, if the employee leaves employment within one year of such reimbursement, the employer may deduct a pro-rated share of that reimbursement from the employee’s wages.
