Certification of Coverage Clause Samples

The Certification of Coverage clause serves to formally confirm that an insurance policy or similar coverage is in effect for a party involved in a contract. Typically, this clause requires the insured party to provide a certificate or other official documentation verifying the existence and terms of the required insurance, such as liability or property coverage, to the other party. By mandating proof of coverage, this clause ensures that all parties are protected against specified risks and that contractual insurance obligations are being met, thereby reducing uncertainty and potential disputes over insurance status.
