The Change of Registrar clause outlines the process and conditions under which a domain name or similar registered asset can be transferred from one registrar to another. Change of Registrar. InternetNZ operates a shared registry system for management of the .nz domain name space. It is a fundamental principle of a shared registry system that a simple mechanism exists for registrants to change registrars. If a registrant for whom you act wishes to change registrar we both agree to follow the procedure specified by us in the .nz policies.
Change of Registrar. The Registrar undertakes, upon request from the Domain Owner, to assist with the transfer of the administration of the Domain Owner’s Domain Name from one Registrar to another. The Domain Owner is thereafter customer to the new Registrar, who will be responsible for all administration of services. The surrendering Registrar shall, upon request from the Domain Owner, ensure that a unique Authorisation Code is created for the Domain Name that the Registrar administers on behalf of the Domain Owner. The surrendering Registrar shall promptly, but no later than five (5) working days after the request, provide the Domain Owner with the Authorisation Code. The recipient Registrar shall assert that the Domain Owner approves the Terms and Conditions of Registration in connection with the Change of Registrar, as well as inform the Domain Owner in cases where the change affects the Domain Owner’s .SE-DNSSEC. After performance of the Registration Service, the recipient Registrar undertakes to promptly, but no later than five (5) working days after receiving a confirmation from .SE, confirm the performed service to the Domain Owner.

Before the Registrar is changed, the recipient Registrar shall inform the Domain Holder in cases where the change affects the Domain Holder’s DS records. On its website, the Registrar shall provide clear information about the Domain Holder’s right to change Registrar. A fee for the Registration Service change of Registrar may not be charged by the surrendering Registrar.

Change of Registrar. 4.1 The Registrar must ensure that the Registrant can easily transfer Sponsorship of the Registered Names the subject of this Agreement to another Registrar in accordance with the .aeDA Policies. The .aeDA Policies include, but are not limited to, such matters as:
4.1.1 the maximum fees chargeable by the Registrar;
4.1.2 when fees are not chargeable by the Registrar;
4.1.3 the circumstances pursuant to which the registrar must transfer the Sponsorship of the Registered Names the subject of this Agreement; and
4.1.4 the circumstances pursuant to which the Registrar does not have to transfer the Sponsorship of the Regis- tered Name the subject of this Agreement.
4.2 In the event that:
4.2.1 the Registrar is no longer a Registrar; or
4.2.2 the Registrar's Accreditation is suspended or terminated; or
4.2.3 the Registry-Registrar Agreement (RRA) is terminated by .aeDA, the Registrant is responsible for transfer- ring the Registered Domain Name the subject of this agreement to a new Registrar in accordance with the .aeDA policies within 30 Calendar Days of written notice being provided to the Registrant by the .aeDA. In the event that the Registrar-Registry Agreement (RRA) between the .aeDA and the Registrar is terminated, the Registrar must not charge the Registrant any fee for the transfer of the Registered Domain Name the subject of this Agreement to another Registrar.

Before the Registrar is changed, the recipient Registrar shall inform the Domain Owner in cases where the change affects the Domain Owner’s .SE-DNSSEC. If the recipient Registrar does not provide the Domain Owner with the .SE-DNSSEC, the Registrar shall remove published DS items. On its website, the Registrar shall provide clear information about the Domain Owner’s right to change Registrar. A fee for change of Registrar may only be charged by a recipient Registrar.
Change of Registrar. 12.1 You may change registrars for an existing domain name, but only in accordance with Regulator Policy.
12.2 Even after you change registrars for an existing domain name, the transfer of the domain name to another Registrar does not affect any accrued rights or remedies of either party existing as at the date of the transfer.
Change of Registrar. The Registrant may change its Registrant's Registrar with respect to a domain name registration at any time in accordance with this Agreement; provided that if the Registrant changes its Registrar it will continue to be bound by its obligations under its agreement with its original Registrar in accordance with such agreement. In the event that a Registrant's Registrar is no longer a Registrar, has had its accreditation or appointment as a Registrar suspended, revoked or terminated, or in the event the agreement between BNNIC and the Registrant's Registrar ("Registrar Accreditation Agreement") is terminated or expires, the Registrant shall be responsible for changing such Registrant's Registrar to a new Registrar in accordance with this Agreement within thirty (30) days of the earlier of notice thereof being given to the Registrant by (i) the Registrant's Registrar or (ii) BNNIC in accordance with BNNIC's then current RPPG available at its website provided.
Change of Registrar. A Subscriber is entitled to change to another Registrar and simultaneously retain the assigned Domain Name. The Registrar shall ensure that the Subscriber is informed of this right, and that it is clearly stated in the agreement between the Subscriber and the Registrar. The Registrar shall within five Working Days and at no charge assist the Subscriber in changing to another Registrar.
