Change of Roster Allowance Sample Clauses

The Change of Roster Allowance clause provides compensation to employees when their scheduled work roster is altered by the employer. Typically, this allowance applies if changes are made to an employee’s shifts with insufficient notice, such as less than 48 hours, or outside of agreed-upon rostering periods. Its core practical function is to recognize the inconvenience and potential disruption caused to employees by last-minute changes, thereby encouraging employers to provide adequate notice and ensuring fairness in scheduling practices.
