Classroom Support. If a general education employee is teaching an adaptive special education class, they will receive additional support that may include some of the following: 1. Release time pay at the employee’s per diem rate to plan and adapt curriculum as needed. 2. Para or special ed teacher support in the class 3. Additional budget to meet specialized equipment needs. 4. Curriculum support from the District.
