Command Authority. Responsible Jurisdiction to Have Command Authority When either Madera County Fire or Merced County Fire responds auto-aid into the neighboring jurisdiction under this Agreement, the incident commander of the responsible jurisdiction shall be in command of all staffing and equipment committed to the incident; however, the first officer at the scene will be in command even if it is not their jurisdiction. Command will then be reasonably passed to the first officer at the incident that has jurisdiction of that incident.
Command Authority. Upon arrival of the requested service area’s resources at the incident scene, staging area, or cover assignment location, all such personnel, equipment, and materials shall remain under the command of the requested service area’s senior responding personnel. The requested service area’s senior responding personnel shall report to and operate under the direction of the requesting (jurisdictional) service area’s Incident Command (“IC”). In no case shall any equipment be loaned for use to personnel who have not been trained in its use.
Command Authority. In the event of an emergency that requires additional assistance, the Fire Chief of the jurisdiction in which the incident is located, or in his/her absence, the Assistant or Deputy Fire Chief or the Incident Commander, will direct the activities at the scene where the emergency exists, but personnel responding to the call shall remain under the command of their own personnel at all times. Each Party shall retain control over its personnel and the rendition of services, standards of performance, discipline of the Party’s personnel, and other mattersincidentaltothe performance ofservices. Each Party authorizesits Fire Chief or his/her designee to meet with the other Party's Fire Chief or his/her designee and develop automatic aid/mutual assistance plans and procedures, including but not limited to details regardingareas to be serviced andtypeand/orlevel of response. The Fire Chiefs are also authorized to promulgate necessary administrative regulations and orders to implement and administer these plans and procedures.
Command Authority a. When the aiding department arrives before the jurisdictional department, the aiding department will take the necessary action dictated by the situation. b. Upon arrival of the jurisdictional department, the operational responsibility for the situation will be immediately assumed by the jurisdictional department. c. The aiding department personnel will be under the direction of the officer in charge of the jurisdictional department. d. The aiding department will be released from the scene as soon as practical by the officer in charge of the jurisdictional department.
Command Authority. The Highland Park Fire Chief, or his or her designees, will be primarily responsible for all services provided to Highwood under this Agreement, including without limitation command authority and decision-making at fires and other emergency scenes and delivery of emergency medical services, Inspection Services, and Dispatch Services. The Highland Park Fire Chief will have discretion at all times whether, and when, to collaborate with, or transfer command authority to, Highwood representatives.
Command Authority. Jurisdiction Receiving Automatic Aid to Have Command Authority When either Atwater Fire or Merced County Fire provides Automatic Aid services under this Agreement, the Incident Commander of the agency receiving Automatic Aid shall be in command of all staffing and equipment committed to the incident; except, however, the first officer at the scene will temporarily be in command even if it is not their agency receiving the Automatic Aid. Command will then be reasonably passed to the first officer of the agency receiving Automatic Aid at the incident.
Command Authority. In the event the City provides assistance to the Town, the Fire Chief of the Town, or in his absence, the Deputy or Assistant Fire Chief or the Incident Commander of the Town, will direct the activities at the scene, but City employees will remain under the command of the City's command staff at all times. In other words, the City and the Town shall retain control over their own employees, their rendition of services, their standards of performance, and shall address discipline of their employees and any other matters relating to their employees and the performance of the services. Each party authorizes its Fire Chief to meet with the other party’s Fire Chief to promulgate necessary administrative regulations and orders to implement and administer these plans and procedures.

  • Power and Authority The Servicer has the corporate power and authority to execute and deliver this Agreement and to carry out its terms; and the execution, delivery and performance of this Agreement have been duly authorized by the Servicer by all necessary corporate action.
