COMMITTEEMEN AND STEWARDS. 17.01 The Union shall notify the Company in writing, within one (1) week of their appointment or election, of the names of all Union Officers, Committeemen and Stewards. 17.02 If a Union Officer or Committeeman is required to leave his job in connection with his duties under this Agreement, he must obtain permission from his immediate supervisor before doing so. Such permission will not be unreasonably withheld and he shall not suffer loss of pay while so engaged during his working hours.

COMMITTEEMEN AND STEWARDS. 14.01 The Executive, Grievance, Safety Committeemen, Shop Stewards and any committee the Union deems necessary for the efficient operation of the Union, will be designated in writing by the Union to the Company. 14.02 Effective June 1, 1994, for the purpose of meeting Company Representatives, the Grievance Committee shall consist of not more than three (3) members. 14.03 Any employee authorized to act on behalf of the Union and so acting on official business of the Union shall be free to discharge his duties without prejudicing his relations with the Company in any way, provided that such employee shall not leave his place of work to perform duties on behalf of the Union until he has had permission from his Supervisor, which shall not be withheld unreasonably. If, in the performance of such duties it is necessary for such employee to approach another employee in a department of the Company other than his own, he shall receive permission from the Supervisor of such other department before making such an approach, such permission not to be withheld unreasonably. 14.04 Pay will not be allowed for time spent by any employee of the Company in respect of duties on behalf of the Union, excepting that members of the Grievance Committee will not lose pay for time

COMMITTEEMEN AND STEWARDS. 5.01 The Union may select, appoint or elect and the Company shall recognize a committee of not more than three (3) employees of the Company, who shall be the Shop Stewards and who shall form the Plant Committee. All such employees must be regular employees of the Company during their time of office. The name and area of the Chairman of the Plant Committee, from time to time selected, shall be given to the Company in writing and the Company shall not be required to recognize any such Chairman until it has been so notified. The Company shall recognize a Union Grievance Committee composed of one (1) Shop Stewards and the Plant Chairman. 5.02 The Company shall post on its bulletin boards the names of all its foremen. 5.03 The Company agrees that a Shop ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or the Plant Chairman after obtaining the permission from his/her ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall, without loss of pay, be permitted to leave his/her regular duties for a reasonable length of time in order to investigate and settle any grievance at Step No. 1 or Step No. 2 which may arise within the bargaining unit. Upon returning to his/her regular duties, the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or Plant Chairman shall report to his/her ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ before commencing his/her regular duties.

There shall be not more than one grievance committeeman for each department, provided, however, that if the physical arrangement of the plant or the number of shifts in operation requires additional grievance committeemen, the limitation of one grievance committeeman to a department shall not apply. The committee of no more than three in number for the purpose of meeting with the Company may be composed of any of the grievance committeemen designated by the Union as identified in the paragraph above. The Union may change the personnel of this committee. The grievant, witnesses and members of the grievance committee will not loose pay for time spent during regularly scheduled working hours attending scheduled meetings with Management representatives.

The negotiating committee shall be allowed one (1) day off work without pay, for the purpose of preparingcontract proposals for approval of the Local Union Membership prior to presentation of such proposals to the Company for negotiations. Leave of absence shall be granted on two weeks written notice to the Company.
