The Competitive Selection clause establishes a process for choosing vendors, contractors, or service providers through a fair and transparent competition. Typically, this involves soliciting bids or proposals from multiple qualified parties, evaluating them based on predetermined criteria such as price, quality, or experience, and then awarding the contract to the most suitable candidate. This clause ensures that procurement decisions are made objectively, reduces the risk of favoritism or corruption, and helps secure the best value for the contracting party.
Competitive Selection. Contractor must select Subcontractors (including suppliers) on a competitive basis to the maximum practical extent consistent with the objectives and requirements of this Contract.
