Common use of Compulsory Check-Off Clause in Contracts

Compulsory Check-Off. 5.01 The Company agrees to deduct Union dues from the first pay of each month of all employees certified as the bargaining unit. If any such employee is absent at the time of deduction, the dues for this month are to be deducted together with the next month’s dues. The Company will remit the money thus collected to the Treasurer of the local Union during the month in which the deduction is made.
