CONDITION OF AIRFRAME AND ENGINES Sample Clauses

The "Condition of Airframe and Engines" clause defines the required physical and operational state of an aircraft's airframe and engines at a specific point, typically at delivery or acceptance. It usually specifies that the airframe and engines must be in a certain condition, such as airworthy, free from damage, and compliant with maintenance requirements. For example, the clause may require that all scheduled maintenance is up to date and that no major repairs are outstanding. This clause ensures that both parties have a clear understanding of the expected condition of critical aircraft components, thereby reducing disputes and allocating responsibility for maintenance or repairs.
