Common use of Configuration Status Accounting Clause in Contracts

Configuration Status Accounting. The Contractor shall establish and maintain a Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) program, which represents the configuration of the TWFS. The CSA system shall provide baseline documentation, delineate the status of changes to the baseline, record implementation of approved changes, and provide an audit trail for engineering changes, drawings and associated lists, software, and other related technical documentation. All approved changes which have been installed in the TWFS shall be recorded. The CSA database shall be electronically transferred to the Government at completion of contract.
