Common use of Contract Employee Clause in Contracts

Contract Employee. 20.5.1 The probationary period provides the contract faculty member the opportunity to demonstrate that he or she meets the standards for reappointment and/or tenure by the district. The candidate demonstrates his or her qualifications through a rigorous process of evaluation of his or her performance. 20.5.2 At a meeting of newly employed bargaining unit members, the evaluation procedure shall be explained by a District representative.
