Common use of Contract Ratification Clause in Contracts

Contract Ratification. All members of the Union shall be permitted a reasonable opportunity to vote on ratification of this Agreement. Before any agreement is provided to the District for consideration, the agreement must be ratified by a majority of members of the Union. The Union will notify the Board, via the Superintendent, in writing of the outcome of the vote. If ratified by the Bargaining Unit, the Agreement will be submitted to the Board of Education for adoption, modification, or rejection.
