Copies of certificates of entry Clause Samples
The 'Copies of certificates of entry' clause requires one party, typically the insured, to provide the other party with copies of certificates that confirm entry into an insurance policy or protection scheme. In practice, this means the insured must supply documentation proving that the relevant vessel or asset is covered under a specific insurance arrangement, such as P&I (Protection and Indemnity) insurance. This clause ensures transparency and allows the other party to verify that adequate insurance coverage is in place, thereby reducing the risk of uninsured losses and promoting trust between contractual parties.
