Cost Differential Sample Clauses

A Cost Differential clause defines how differences in costs between alternatives or changes are handled within a contract. Typically, this clause specifies the process for calculating and allocating any additional or reduced expenses that arise when substituting materials, methods, or suppliers, often requiring documentation or approval for such changes. Its core function is to ensure that any financial impact from deviations to the original agreement is transparently managed and fairly distributed, thereby preventing disputes over unexpected costs.
