Coverage and Cost. Your monthly bill for electricity for your dwelling unit will cover only electricity consumed within your dwelling unit. The submeter bill will not include any electricity for common areas or common facilities. Your per-KWH cost will be what the electric utility company charges us for an average KWH, that is, our total bill divided by the apartment community’s total KWH consumption. There will be no extra charge of any kind for electrical consumption through your submeter.

Coverage and Cost. The District agrees to maintain the current Hospitalization and Medical Insurance coverage and benefit in substantially the same manner and level. The District shall pay 100% of the single premium costs. Each employee with dependent coverage will pay 15% of the difference between single coverage and the dependent coverage that the employee has elected to take, with the District paying the remaining portion of the premium costs.

Those administrators utilizing HMO Health Plans will have the right to submit up to $100.00 worth of prescription or medical expenses to the Board for payment. Both of the above groups will utilize vouchers for the said payments. All vouchers will be submitted for payment before the date of July 31st following the school year in which incurred. If the cost of an HMO exceeds the cost of the coverage in Article V-A 1 above, the excess will be the responsibility of the administrator.

The administrator provided this vision care plan will pay ten (10%) percent of the cost thereof to the Board in equal installments each year of this contract. 5. The Board will provide an Administrator assistance program for all administrators covered by this Agreement of a type at least equal to that provided by the County of Somerset for its Administrators. 6. The Board may substitute other insurance carriers so long as the insurance coverages provided above are similar to or better than those now being provided. 7. Provided the law is amended to allow the following: Upon an administrator electing to accept “single” medical insurance coverage pursuant to Article V.I. hereof when the administrator previously had “family”, “husband and wife” or “single with children” coverage, the Board will pay that administrator the following sums: 1. $1,500.00 if the administrator is deleting “family” coverage for each full year such election is maintained. 2. $1,250.00 if the administrator is deleting “husband and wife” or “single with children” coverage for each full year such election is maintained. The aforesaid payments are to be made at the time of the election of the administrator and the execution of an agreement to reimburse the Board if the administrator is re-enrolled in “family” or “husband and wife” coverage before expiration of the elected year. Coverage and Cost. The Village agrees to establish an advisory committee which shall include at least one member of the bargaining unit. The committee shall be empowered to research available dental/optical and medical plans, to compare their costs, and to recommend to the Village Manager possible implementation of such a plan. No change in coverage will result without convening the committee and providing them an opportunity to provide input. The parties acknowledge the continued rising cost of health insurance and the benefit of collaboration on cost saving measures by implementing cost sharing and containment measures consistent with market conditions as follows: In order to better apportion the true cost of providing group health insurance benefits, effective July 1, 2020 employees will contribute the following percentage of premiums consistent with the level of coverage they choose as follows: Coverage Level % of Premium Contributions Employee Only 10% Employee and Spouse 15% Employee and Child(ren) 15% Family 20% Additionally, employees electing to opt out of health insurance coverage provided by the Village are eligible to receive a stipend for obtaining coverage elsewhere. To be eligible for opt out of Village insurance, employees will need to provide Human Resources proof of coverage elsewhere. Opt out payments are as follows: Transition from Family to Employee + Child(ren) $2,600 annually Transition from Employee + Spouse to Employee only…… $2,600 annually Transition from Family to Employee only $4,200 annually Transition from Family to no coverage $6,000 annually ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ will be paid over each payroll cycle throughout the year, and continue as long as the employee and their dependents are eligible for coverage. Employees under 26 with access to their parent(s) health insurance are not eligible for opt out payment. Employees who have opted out will be allowed to return to the Village sponsored health insurance plan on an annual basis during open enrollment or for a qualified life event.
