Dates of Use. The City of Biddeford authorizes LAKERMESSE FRANCO-AMERICAINE to have exclusive use of St. Louis Field for the purpose of holding the LAKERMESSE FESTIVAL. LAKERMESSE may take possession of the field not earlier than ten (10) days prior to the official start date of festival activities at St. Louis Field, unless an earlier date is specifically authorized by the Recreation Department Director. LAKERMESSE FRANCO-AMERICAINE shall vacate St. Louis Field not later than three (3) days after the close of the festival. The City may require a delay in equipment being removed from the field in order to prevent damage. In these cases, the three (3) day would be extended and LAKERMESSE (and their vendors) shall comply. Members of the Festival shall meet with the Parks and Recreation Department Director, or other designated city official, prior to January 1st of each calendar year to discuss an entry date onto the field and confirm specific dates which commence the Festival's actual use of the field. By mutual agreement, the Parties may amend or extend these dates, due to unforeseen weather events or conditions.
