Common use of Definition of Unit Clause in Contracts

Definition of Unit. Paraprofessionals and School Related Personnel shall include any noncertificated employee of the Board who is employed in one of the positions listed in Addendum II, or is in a newly created position similar in duties and responsibilities to those listed in Addendum II. The Board shall consult with the Union before Title I job descriptions are finalized in the Title I proposal. Paraprofessionals and School Related Personnel shall not include any noncertificated employee of the Board who is: 1) a confidential employee as defined under Section 6-501(b) of the Education Article; 2) management personnel as defined under Section 6-501(d) of the Education Article; 3) a supervisory employee as defined under Section 6-50l(h) of the Education Article; or
