Delayed Start. If a nurse is not needed at the beginning of a shift due to 2 staffing level or low census but will be necessary to provide meal and 3 break coverage, then a nurse will be placed on a delayed start time and 4 on-call for the first two (2) hours of the shift. If not called back prior to the 5 delayed start time, the nurse will be paid their regular rate of pay for all 6 hours worked. If needed earlier, the nurse can be called back before the 7 delayed start time. If this occurs, the nurse will receive one and one-half 8 (1½) times their regular rate of pay for all hours worked in addition to any 9 on-call time. The hours the nurse is placed on-call, but not called in, will 10 be calculated into the twenty-four (24) hours of mandatory absence for 11 that period.
Delayed Start. 12 In the event that the opening of school is delayed employees shall be granted the same amount 13 of delayed hours from the start of their normal shift, i.e., for a two (2) hour delay an employee 14 who is required to report at 7:30 shall report to work at 9:30 am. All employees will be allowed 15 to leave work at the end of their regularly scheduled day shall not be required to make up the 16 rest of their workday without loss of pay. If, however, an employee feels they cannot report to 17 work; emergency leave, personal leave, vacation or deduct can be used at the employee’s 18 discretion and will be designated on the monthly leave record by the employee.
Delayed Start. On announced delayed start days, bargaining unit members are to report to work exactly two (2) hours later than their normal starting time. Overall planning and conference times may be reduced in any week affected by a school closure or schedule compaction occasioned by a delayed start day or days.
Delayed Start. Whenever the District delays the regular starting time employees shall receive their regularly scheduled pay and benefits for the delayed time period. Employees whose schedule requires arrival prior to the decision to delay school or whose regular schedule precludes them from being notified of delay prior to departure from home shall receive overtime pay off for the period of delay. One hour pay is guaranteed.

Delayed Start. 4.8.1 If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Company, a delivery is delayed and a part-time or casual employee has no alternative work to perform, the following procedure will apply: 4.8.1.1 If after consideration, there are no alternative duties for the employee at their usual starting time, the Company may, with at least 2 hours notice for the employee, request a delay to the start of the employee’s shift; 4.8.1.2 The maximum postponement from the original start time is 2 hours; 4.8.1.3 A delayed start cannot reduce the total number of hours that an employee was rostered to work; and 4.8.1.4 An employee may refuse a request if they have a family responsibility, a transport issue, a study commitment or other genuine commitment.
Delayed Start. In the event of a delayed start to the school day, all staff are expected to report to their building in person, at the announced start time or their normal start time whichever is later, regardless of any canceled programs.
Delayed Start. If the superintendent declares the need for a delayed start, all ESP impacted by the delayed start time are expected to report to their respective locations no later than the designated time of the delayed start. This procedure applies only to those staff whose normal work hours are impacted by the change.

  • Delayed Succession If no Instruction has been given as of the effective date of termination, Custodian may at any time on or after such termination date and upon ten (10) consecutive calendar days written notice to the Fund either (a) deliver the Investments of the Fund held hereunder to the Fund at the address designated for receipt of notices hereunder; or (b) deliver any investments held hereunder to a bank or trust company having a capitalization of $2,000,000 USD equivalent and operating under the Applicable Law of the jurisdiction where such Investments are located, such delivery to be at the risk of the Fund. In the event that Investments or moneys of the Fund remain in the custody of the Custodian or its Subcustodians after the date of termination owing to the failure of the Fund to issue Instructions with respect to their disposition or owing to the fact that such disposition could not be accomplished in accordance with such Instructions despite diligent efforts of the Custodian, the Custodian shall be entitled to compensation for its services with respect to such Investments and moneys during such period as the Custodian or its Subcustodians retain possession of such items and the provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect until disposition in accordance with this Section is accomplished.

  • Outpatient Dental Anesthesia Services This plan covers anesthesia services received in connection with a dental service when provided in a hospital or freestanding ambulatory surgical center and: • the use of this is medically necessary; and • the setting in which the service is received is determined to be appropriate. This plan also covers facility fees associated with these services. This plan covers dental care for members until the last day of the month in which they turn nineteen (19). This plan covers services only if they meet all of the following requirements: • listed as a covered dental care service in this section. The fact that a provider has prescribed or recommended a service, or that it is the only available treatment for an illness or injury does not mean it is a covered dental care service under this plan. • dentally necessary, consistent with our dental policies and related guidelines at the time the services are provided. • not listed in Exclusions section. • received while a member is enrolled in the plan. • consistent with applicable state or federal law. • services are provided by a network provider.

  • Preparation Period During the preparation period, a teacher will have no other assignment except in an emergency situation. It is recognized that the preparation period is a scheduled part of the teacher's work day and the teacher is expected to be in his/her respective Building. If the teacher must leave the Building during his/her preparation and/or lunch period, he/she must notify the Building switchboard operator.

  • Incidental Services 13.1 The supplier may be required to provide any or all of the following services, including additional services (if any) specified in the SCC: (a) performance or supervision of on-site assembly, and/or commissioning of the supplied goods; (b) furnishing of tools required for the assembly and/or maintenance of the supplied goods; (c) furnishing of a detailed operations and maintenance manual for each appropriate unit of the supplied goods; (d) performance or supervision or maintenance and/or repair of the supplied goods, for a period of time agreed by the parties, provided that this service shall not relieve the supplier of any warranty obligations under this contract; and (e) training of the purchaser’s personnel, at the supplier’s plant and/or on-site, in assembly, start-up, operation, maintenance, and/or repair of the supplied goods. 13.2 Prices charged by the supplier for incidental services, if not included in the contract price for the goods, shall be agreed upon in advance by the parties and shall not exceed the prevailing rates charged to other parties by the supplier for similar services.

  • Tax Periods Ending on or Before the Closing Date Buyer shall prepare or cause to be prepared and file or cause to be filed all Tax Returns for the Company and the Company Subsidiary for all periods ending on or prior to the Closing Date which are required to be filed (taking into account all extensions properly obtained) after the Closing Date.
