Dependent Enrollment. All staff will have the option of having their dependents attend the school where they teach. If the staff member lives out of district, the tuition application process must be completed. If the student’s grade level is not consistent for that school, the student will be allowed to attend the nearest school to the staff member’s employment. If the staff member wishes to have their student attend a school other than the one at which they teach, the transfer process must be completed and the placement will be at a mutually agreed upon site. In the event of disagreement, final placement will be at the discretion of the superintendent. Article 15.9 will not be subject to the grievance procedure or arbitration. Staff will make annual requests in writing to the building principal or the enrollment office on or before April 30th. The student may remain in the district in accordance with the transfer and tuition policies.
