Detailed Action Plan / Implementation Matrix Sample Clauses

Detailed Action Plan / Implementation Matrix. An implementation matrix will be developed that clearly shows the actions needed to implement the framework plan. The matrix format will give the City a way to see how each implementation tool contributes to the Strategy’s vision and intent, and how individual tools relate to one another. For each tool or recommendation, the matrix will identify specific implementation strategies, responsible parties, supporting parties, timeframes, and potential funding sources. Implementation tools may include capital investments, financial incentives for the private sector, positioning recommendations for key parcels, civic actions, programs, policy amendments, and/or additional studies that should be undertaken by the City of Arlington or one of its advocacy partners. Action items will be prioritized relative to local resources (time, money, manpower) and desired outcomes. The matrix’s timeline information will identify those actions that must be put into motion earlier rather than later if thought to take longer to come to fruition (i.e., legislative reform). In addition, certain actions will be tied to conditions that unless advanced during a specific timeframe might result in a missed market opportunity. Finally, the action plan reflected in the matrix will be flexible enough to respond to certain unanticipated strategic initiatives that might present themselves (i.e., private investment in catalyst area).
