The Determination of Need clause establishes the process by which a party assesses whether a particular good, service, or action is required under the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the criteria or procedures for making such determinations, such as requiring written justification or approval from a designated authority. Its core practical function is to ensure that resources are only allocated or actions are only taken when there is a clear, documented necessity, thereby preventing unnecessary expenditures or obligations.
