Discounts and Allowances Clause Samples
The "Discounts and Allowances" clause defines the terms under which price reductions or special pricing arrangements are offered by one party to another. This clause typically outlines the types of discounts available, such as volume-based, early payment, or promotional discounts, and specifies the conditions that must be met to qualify for them. By clearly establishing when and how discounts or allowances apply, the clause helps prevent misunderstandings and disputes over pricing, ensuring both parties have a mutual understanding of the cost structure.
