PAY AND ALLOWANCES. 10.1 For the 2019/20 negotiations the Parties agree to: A. In 2018/19, all employees who will not receive the Classified School Employee Summer Assistance Program in 2019/20 will receive a one time stipend worth 2% of their yearly regular salary. B. In 2019/20, all employees who will not receive the Classified School Employee Summer Assistance Program in 2019/20 will receive a one time stipend worth 2% of their yearly regular salary. C. All of the cells of the 2020/21 salary schedule not affected by the minimum wage increase in 2021 will be increased 3.6%. The 2020/21 salary schedule will be open for negotiations in the 2020/21 school year. 10.2 Pay for 12 month bargaining unit members shall be computed on the following basis: A. Hours worked per day x hourly rate of pay x number of days per year worked divided by 12 months. 10.3 Pay for less than 12 month employees shall be computed on the following basis: A. Hours worked per day x hourly rate of pay x number of days worked (plus holidays and vacation days) divided by 12 months. All regular paychecks of employees in the bargaining unit shall be issued monthly. 10.4 Whenever it is determined that an error has been made in the calculation or reporting of any classified employee’s salary which results in an under payment to the bargaining unit member, the District shall, within 5 working days following such determination, provide the employee with a statement of the correction and a supplemental payment drawn against any available funds. 10.5 Whenever it is determined that an error has been made in the calculation or reporting of any classified employees salary which results in an over payment, before any attempt at recouping any overpayment, the District shall meet with the affected employee and his/her representative, provide any and all relevant information to the employee that supports the District’s opinion that an overpayment has occurred. 10.5.1 If the employee agrees that an overpayment has occurred, the District and the Employee shall agree to a repayment plan, which shall be a written agreement and signed by both parties. If the employee does not agree that an overpayment has been made, the District shall be required to follow the applicable State and Federal laws regarding wage garnishment. In no instance will the District unilaterally attempt to recoup an alleged overpayment without meeting with the affected employee. 10.6 The hourly rate of pay for each classification in the bargaining unit shal...
PAY AND ALLOWANCES. 5.1 REGULAR RATE OF PAY: The regular rate of pay for each position shall be in accordance with the rates established for each class as provided for in Appendix B, which is attached thereto and by reference incorporated as a part of this Agreement.

PAY AND ALLOWANCES. Regular Rate of Pay: The regular rate of pay for each position in the bargaining unit shall be in accordance with the rates established for each class as provided for in Appendices A and B, which is attached hereto and, by reference, incorporated as a part of this Agreement. Unit members may elect to be paid over eleven (11) months, or eleven (11) months with supplemental arrears. 12.3 Effective June 30, 2023, all regular paychecks of unit members shall be issued monthly on the last day of the month. 12.4 Whenever it is determined that an error has been made in the calculation or reporting of any unit member payroll or in the reporting of any unit member's salary which results in an underpayment to the unit member, the District shall, within five (5) workdays following such determination, provide the unit member with a statement of the correction and then process a supplemental payment. 12.5 Whenever it is determined that an error has been made in the calculation or reporting of any unit member's salary that results in an overpayment, before any attempt at recouping any overpayment, the District shall provide written notice of the overpayment and the date of the pending negotiations meeting. The District shall then meet with the affected unit member, their representative if they choose, and provide any and all relevant information to the unit member that supports the Districts determination that an overpayment has occurred. 12.6 If the unit member agrees that an overpayment has occurred, the District and the unit member may agree to a repayment plan, which shall be a written agreement and signed by both parties. PAY AND ALLOWANCES. Work within close contact: Unit members who volunteer to directly work with students in person while on Plan C and are considered close contacts (CDC definition: ‘within 6 feet for longer than 15 minutes’) will receive an additional $7.50 per hour paid by timecard.
PAY AND ALLOWANCES. 11.1 As of July 1, 2016, members of the bargaining unit covered by PERS will begin paying the employee portion of retirement benefits to the California Public Employee’s Retirement System (CalPERS). 11.1.1 As of July 1, 2018, the Santa ▇▇▇▇ County Office of Education agrees to increase the Members Classified Salary Schedule by three percent (3%) and a one percent (1%) of base salary, one-time off-salary schedule stipend to members employed as of July 1, 2018. 11.1.2 As of July 1, 2019, the Santa ▇▇▇▇ County Office of Education agrees to increase the Members Classified Salary Schedule by two percent (2%). 11.1.3 It is agreed that for fiscal years 2018-19 and 2019-20 negotiations shall be closed for all monetary items, with the exception of Article 14 – Leaves, section 14.2 and Appendix C – Long-Term Disability. 11.1.4 As of July 1, 2017, the Santa ▇▇▇▇ County Office of Education agrees to increase the Members Classified Salary Schedule by three percent (3%). 11.1.5 As of July 1, 2016, the Santa ▇▇▇▇ County Office of Education (SCCOE) agrees to increase the Members Classified Salary Schedule by seven percent (7%). Six percent of the increase to apply to the change in Employee PERS and an additional 1% for a total of 7%. 11.2 As part of compensation, for all full-time employees, the Unit agrees to join with the County Office of Education and fund retirement benefits. 11.3 For the 2015-16 year, contractual salary adjustments due mid-year will be advanced to 7/1/2015 and paid on the earliest payroll available after ratification and board meeting. 11.3.1 All future step increases and longevity bonuses will commence on 7/1 preceding the completion of the appropriate years of service. 11.3.2 Probationary step increases will not change and will continue to be paid at the six (6) month anniversary date. 11.4 An employee shall receive a longevity bonus based upon the following conditions: a. After six years of service the employee shall receive a 2.5% bonus increase at the employee's annual salary rate. b. PAY AND ALLOWANCES. 10.1 The regular rate of pay for bargaining unit members shall be in accordance with Appendix “A.” 10.2 All employees in the bargaining unit shall be paid at least once per month payable on or before the last working day of the month. If the normal pay date falls on a holiday, the paycheck shall be issued on the preceding workday. 10.3 Any error that is discovered that affects the salary of an employee shall be adjusted up to a three (3) year period. If the error is in favor of the employee, the employee will be compensated by the amount plus five percent (5%) interest for a period of no more than three (3) years. The amount will be paid within a forty-five (45) calendar day period. If the error is in favor of the District, a mutually acceptable repayment plan will be undertaken which will reduce the employee’s monthly check accordingly. 10.4 Any payroll adjustment due an employee in the bargaining unit as a result of working out of class, working overtime, or reasons other than payroll errors shall be included in either the following end-of-the-month or the 10th of the month payroll check. The supplemental pay period is from the 11th of the previous month to the 10th of the current month. 10.5 Any paycheck for an employee in the bargaining unit which is lost after receipt or which is not delivered within seven (7) days of mailing, if mailed, shall be replaced not later than five (5) working days following the employee’s notice to the payroll department for replacement of the check. 10.6 The District shall offer less than full time unit employees the opportunity to substitute for absent bargaining unit members. This opportunity shall be subject to the following: 10.6.1 Absent unusual circumstances, there will be no overlap in hours (i.e. the employee must first be able to perform his/her regular assignment). 10.6.2 The substitute assignment shall not result in overtime costs for the District. In such cases, the District may split the assignment or may offer the substitute opportunity to persons who are on the Classified substitute list. 10.6.3 The District and Unit agree that parental involvement is critical to maximize the educational opportunities for all students. PAY AND ALLOWANCES. 13.1 Campus supervisors and Lead Campus Supervisor shall be paid according to the schedule listed in Appendix B. The District agrees to adjust the salary schedules by the same percentage applied to the certificated unit salary schedule effective yearly beginning with the 2003-2004 school year and for the duration of this Agreement. 13.2 All employees shall receive warrants/paychecks or electronic paystub/direct deposit on the last working day of the month as determined by the County Office of Education. 13.3 District shall compensate employees for mileage incurred in the performance of their duties as established by Board policy. 13.4 A campus supervisor shall be compensated when directed by the District to attend training conducted outside of work hours unless the training is part of the minimum qualifications for the position. 13.5 In the event that the District requires the wearing of uniforms by unit members, the cost of the purchase, lease or rental of uniforms, equipment, identification badges, emblems, and cards shall be borne by the District provided that the numbers of each shall be allocated by the District. 13.6 The District believes that all campus supervisors should be paid competitively when compensation is compared with school districts in Ventura County and other classified employees within the district. Normally, classification compensation will be addressed during the year when the successor agreement is negotiated. The parties agree to suspend this reclassification process until and unless the formula agreement for certificated goes positive rather than negative. 13.6.1 Should the reallocation not be implemented for Campus Supervisors by July 1, 2004, the parties agree to meet and negotiate the implementation of the proposed reallocation of Campus Supervisors. 13.7 Equalized Pay for All Campus Supervisors [excluding Adult Ed.] All Campus Supervisors/Lead Campus Supervisors salary shall be equalized. Said equalization is accomplished by taking the total paid work days plus up to 3 in- service days (for the school year 2009-10 there is only one in-service day; for the school year 2010-2011 there will be NO in-service days), plus 13 paid holidays (July 4 does not fall during the regular school year), equals total paid days. Those days are then multiplied by the unit member’s daily rate of pay (hourly rate multiplied by assigned hours per day).
