Duties of the University Clause Samples
The "Duties of the University" clause defines the specific responsibilities and obligations that the university must fulfill under the agreement. Duties of the University. Ensure that the University course requirements are followed; Collaborate with the District on building plans and funding arrangements for future agreed space; Provide the enrolled dual enrollment students with ID cards at no charge. Student ID photo must be provided by District. Host a “Dual Credit 101” session at least once per academic year for the District high school counselors. Allow the enrolled dual enrollment students the same access to instructional and certain non-instructional resources available on the University campus including, but not limited to the use of the library, computer labs, study rooms, science labs, tutoring, bookstore and food or lounge areas, and Collaborate with District officials on all matters pertaining to student responsibilities, rights, discipline and insurance.
Duties of the University. (1) The University undertakes to implement the curriculum in the adopted form. Thereby, it has the reserved right to make changes to this curriculum or to make necessary changes as regards to the teaching staff, when these changes do not jeopardise the study objective.
(2) Should the University, for whatever reason, not (or no longer) be in a position to (further) implement the curriculum, it shall support the student in the recognition of the qualifications/examinations acquired to that date within the framework of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
Duties of the University. 8.1. To provide the Resident with a tidy Place of Residence;
8.2. To assign the property related to accommodation to the Resident, according to the conditions and terms indicated herein;
8.3. To remove inventory faults and ensure the operation of engineering systems and other equipment, after timely report of the Resident;
8.4. To take care of comfortable life, study and relaxation conditions and the suitable environment for the Resident.
Duties of the University. A. The University will designate a member of its faculty in teacher education to provide leadership for its Internship program, support to its Interns, and to coordinate and communicate with the District as a main point of contact on behalf of the University (“University Supervisor”). This shall be done at the University’s sole expense.
B. The University will ensure that its Teaching Interns meet the following requirements necessary to acquire an intern teaching credential:
1. Bachelors’ degree from an accredited school of higher education
2. Subject matter competency
3. Passage of California Basic Educational Skills Test (“CBEST”)
4. Demonstrate knowledge of the United States Constitution by completing a college level course, or a college level examination in the subject
5. Completion of 120 pre-service hours The University will make application for the intern credential for those meeting the requirements.
C. The University will enhance the Intern’s growth and development by providing quality coursework, seminars, and experiences to complete the preliminary credential.
D. During the term of each University quad, the University Supervisor will make four
Duties of the University. The University shall:
A. Provide an educational program in graduate medical education that meets all applicable standards and guidelines.
B. Apply the standards, policies, and obligations affecting the Residents in a uniform and equitable manner.
C. Evaluate the Resident in a manner consistent with GME policies.
Duties of the University. The University agrees to and shall:
3.1 : Furnish utilities and services to each housing unit including but not limited to: water, heat, electricity, maintenance, and internet access.
3.2 : Furnish to each student a habitable premises containing furnishings and equipment in good, working, usable condition.
3.3 : Provide maintenance service in the event of mechanical difficulties or interruptions of any utility service which is under the control of the University and promptly seek such service in the event such difficulties or interruptions arise in facilities or equipment serving the University but not under University control. There will be no adjustment to rent because of the University’s inability to restore services for a reasonable period of time nor shall the University be liable for inconvenience incurred by the student during such period of time.
3.4 : Provide an alternative space assignment or correction of any unsafe condition that may arise within a housing unit in which the student’s space is situated. Please refer to section 2.3.
Duties of the University. Apply the standards of expectation and assessment uniformly in all courses offered at the ECHS; Coordinate with the ECHS counselors to ensure that all core curriculum courses are in the student’s individual graduation plan for dual credit by the beginning of their sophomore year; Designate personnel to monitor the quality of instruction in order to assure compliance with the standards established by the State and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges; Host a “Dual Credit 101” session at least once per academic year for the ECHS counselors. Participate in support of the ECHS principal/director as appropriate and provide feedback to the supervisor of the principal; Provide articulation support for transition of ECHS graduates to the University; Provide the enrolled ECHS students with ID cards at no charge. Student ID photo must be provided by District. Provide dual enrolled ECHS students same access to instructional and certain non-instructional resources available on the University campus including, but not limited to the use of the library, computer labs, study rooms, science labs, tutoring, bookstore and food or lounge areas; Establish an annual agreement in writing on tuition and fees as pronounced in Addendum B.
Duties of the University. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this Agreement, the University will furnish Bank with the space, facilities and accommodations, the University deems reasonably necessary to support Bank in the provision of the Services contemplated by this Agreement. Subject to the Preexisting Agreements set forth in Exhibit C, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, and described in Section 15.7, the University agrees to the following:
Duties of the University. The University shall perform the activities and actions described in this Section 2.4 in its capacity as a Party to the Implementing Agreement, the HCP and the Permit.
2.4.1. The University will undertake a program of Texas Wild-Rice Enhancement and Restoration in the San Marcos River within the University’s campus boundaries as described in Section 6.2.1 of the HCP.
2.4.2. The University will undertake and enforce recreation control in high-quality habitat areas of the San Marcos River within the University’s campus boundaries as described in Section 6.2.2 of the HCP.
2.4.3. The University will undertake a program to remove decaying vegetation and vegetative mats in the San Marcos River within the University’s campus boundaries as described in Section 6.2.3 of the HCP.
2.4.4. The University will undertake expanded monitoring of water quality in the San Marcos River within the University’s campus boundaries as described in Section 6.2.4 of the HCP.
2.4.5. The University will undertake a program to control harmful exotic and predator species in the San Marcos River within the University’s campus boundaries as described in Section 6.2.5 of the HCP.
Duties of the University. The University shall provide a suitable environment for the Equipment and shall provide Contractor with access to the Equipment as necessary to permit the Contractor to provide the Services hereunder.
