Education Program Goals and Instructional Methods to be Used. The School agrees to implement its educational and related programs as specified in the School's approved application as modified by this Charter, setting forth the School's curriculum, the instructional methods, and any distinctive instructional techniques to be used. The outline of the School's curriculum shall be submitted to and approved by the Sponsor. The School agrees to implement the following educational and related program goals: According to the Florida A+ School Grading System each school measures individual student success by student performance on the FCAT. The FCAT individual student performance data is then combined to analyze and measure the school’s success. The number of points a school accumulates is then equated to an overall school grade based on the percent of students meeting high standards in reading, writing, mathematics, and science, the percent of students making annual learning gains in reading and mathematics, and the percent of the lowest 25% making reading and mathematics learning gains. To this end, the “School” will earn a school grade at or above a “C” year one with incremental goals and objectives in year two toward maintaining an “A” (or moving at least one grade level) and making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) by year three. In addition to the school wide goal of earning a school grade at or above a “C”, the “School” will meet the following objectives: Objective 1: The School will make adequate progress with the Lowest 25% in reading and mathematics as defined by the Florida A+ Plan.

The School agrees to implement the following measurable educational and related program goals: Grades 1 and 2: • The academic growth rates in reading for students at our Charter School will meet and/or exceed the national growth rates on the Stanford 10. • At least 50 percent of students scoring in the lowest quartile in reading from annual administrations of the Stanford 10 will demonstrate at least one year’s growth by the end of the academic year. • The academic growth rates in mathematics for students will meet and/or exceed the national growth rates on the Stanford 10. • At least 50 percent of students scoring in the lowest quartile in math from annual administrations of the Stanford 10 will demonstrate at least one year’s growth by the end of the academic year. • Grades 3 and above– Reading: A minimum of a 5% annual increase in the amount of students meeting high standards on the reading portion of the FCAT-SSS. At least a 10% annual increase in the amount of students demonstrating learning gains on the reading portion of the FCAT-SSS, grades 4 and above. • Grades 3 and above – Math: A minimum of a 5% annual increase in the amount of students meeting high standards on the mathematics portion of the FCAT-SSS. At least a 10% annual increase in the amount of students demonstrating learning gains on the mathematics portion of the FCAT-SSS, grades 4 and above.

The School may modify educational achievement objectives annually in its School Improvement Plan. The School agrees to implement the following educational and related program goals: 1. Achieve Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) based on No Child Left Behind (NCLB) standards. 2. Increase the mean scale scores on FCAT Reading, Math, Science, and Writing by five mean scale points each year. 3. 70% of students in grades K – 3 will demonstrate one year’s growth or maintain maximum grade level equivalency on the Reading and Mathematics components of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. 4. 60% of students in grades 3 – 6 will demonstrate proficiency on the FCAT Reading, Math, Science and Writing.

  • Particular Methods of Procurement of Consultants’ Services 1. Quality- and Cost-based Selection. Except as otherwise provided in paragraph 2 below, consultants’ services shall be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of Quality and Cost-based Selection.
