Common use of Eligibility for Payment Clause in Contracts

Eligibility for Payment. (a) i) Except in the case of disability arising out of an accident or by being hospitalized for sickness, an employee shall be eligible to receive an amount of disability benefit m accordance with Section 3 hereof, for a period not exceeding fifty-two (52) weeks for any illness, beginning after three (3) consecutive days of continuance of the disability.
