Emergency Travel. The Chief Executive Officer may authorize travel for any employee, Authority Board member, or other traveler pursuant to emergency notice. The requirements of Section 4.1 of this policy may be waived at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer whenever travel is pursuant to emergency notice. Travel Expense Reports shall be submitted upon completion of travel in accordance with Section 13 herein.

Travel expenses of Worldwide Assistance will arrange and, if necessary, advance funds for one round-trip economy class ticket for a member of your immediate family to travel from their home to the place where you are hospitalized if you are hospitalized for more than consecutive days, and: you are travelling alone, or you are travelling only with a child who is under the age of or mentally or physically handicapped.
