Emergency Travel. (A) When an emergency, such as a hurricane, arises that requires the agency to temporarily assign employees with less than 48 hours’ notice, the agency will make a good faith effort to officially notify employees of the temporary assignment. Such notification may be in person, by telephone, by radio, or in writing.
(B) When an emergency arises requiring temporary personnel assignment with less than 48 hours’ notice, the state agrees to make the necessary payment to the vendor for lodging for such employees. The employee shall have no responsibility to make such payments to the vendor. Travel vouchers will be submitted as required in Section 1 above.
Emergency Travel. The Chief Executive Officer may authorize travel for any employee, Authority Board member, or other traveler pursuant to emergency notice. The requirements of Section 4.1 of this policy may be waived at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer whenever travel is pursuant to emergency notice. Travel Expense Reports shall be submitted upon completion of travel in accordance with Section 13 herein.

Chubb Assistance can coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for friends and family members of an Insured Person requiring In-Patient Medical treatment during an Insured Journey and/or arrange the safe return home of any minor Child who is left unattended following a situation where an Insured Person requires In-Patient Medical treatment; Medical Repatriation; or has died.

Travel expenses of Worldwide Assistance will arrange and, if necessary, advance funds for one round-trip economy class ticket for a member of your immediate family to travel from their home to the place where you are hospitalized if you are hospitalized for more than consecutive days, and: you are travelling alone, or you are travelling only with a child who is under the age of or mentally or physically handicapped. Emergency Travel. (i) At the discretion of the Board, in the event of the death of immediate family members (father, mother, children, grandparents, brothers, sisters), AGC will reimburse the cost of round trip business airfare, transportation to and from the airport, and any airport taxes for Executive and Executive's accompanying family members. Temporary living expenses during such time shall not be reimbursed. Length of such leave will be based on the home country plan covering such events (exclusive of travel time).
