Employee Applications. A. Non-probationary employees (including eligible laid-off employees) who want to fill a posted vacancy may submit a completed application which includes a resume and all other documents as required by the University during the posting period. Additional relevant records, recommendations and transcripts may be required or furnished at the time of interview.
B. Applicants will be required to take any and all tests which relate to their ability to perform the duties of positions for which they wish to be considered.
Employee Applications. Preference shall be given to employees in making selections for vacancies. Applications from employees shall receive consideration before seeking other applications.

Only applications providing all requested information and received by the Employer within the posting period will be considered by the Employer. An employee who does not provide all requested information or deliberately falsifies information may be disqualified.

Who Must File To be considered for an announced vacancy, an employee must file the appropriate application (as described in the announcement) unless the employee is in an area of automatic consideration. Where an area of automatic consideration is used, an employee need not file unless the announcement specifies that the application is necessary in order to address specific assessment criteria.

Electronic Application Forms Management will afford employees access and instructions so that they may use Agency computers to complete automated applications, e.g. IVOL, USAJobs or equivalent, for SSA positions. Access will be granted to the extent that computers, related equipment, and computer time are available and such use will not impede Agency operations. For the purposes of this Agreement, access includes a reasonable amount of time during an employee’s working hours to prepare or modify his/her application.
