Extermination Clause Samples
The Extermination clause outlines the responsibilities and procedures for eliminating pests, vermin, or other unwanted organisms from a property. Typically, this clause specifies who is responsible for arranging and paying for extermination services, such as the landlord or tenant in a lease agreement, and may set standards for the timing and methods used. Its core practical function is to ensure the property remains safe, sanitary, and habitable by clearly allocating responsibility for pest control and preventing disputes over maintenance obligations.
