Field Changes Clause Samples
The Field Changes clause defines the procedures and conditions under which modifications to the work site or project area can be made during the course of a contract. Typically, this clause outlines who has the authority to request or approve changes, the process for documenting and communicating such changes, and how adjustments to cost or schedule will be handled as a result. Its core function is to provide a clear and agreed-upon method for managing unforeseen or necessary alterations in the field, thereby minimizing disputes and ensuring that all parties understand their responsibilities and the impact of any changes.
