Field Measurements Sample Clauses

Field Measurements. Contractor shall make the layout of lines and elevations and shall be responsible for the accuracy of both the Contractor’s and the Subcontractors’ work resulting therefrom. All dimensions affecting proper fabrication and installation of all Contract work must be verified by the Contractor prior to fabrication and installation by taking field measurements of the true conditions. The Contractor shall take, and assist Subcontractors in taking, all field dimensions required in performance of the work, and shall verify all dimensions and conditions on the Site. If there are any discrepancies between dimensions in Drawings (or Plans) and existing conditions which will affect the work, the Contractor shall promptly bring such discrepancies to the attention of the Architect for adjustment before proceeding with the work. Contractor shall be responsible for the proper fitting of all work and for the coordination of all trades, Subcontractors and persons engaged upon this Contract.

Field Measurements. Prior to commencement of the Work, or portions thereof, Design-Builder shall take field measurements and verify field conditions at the Site and shall carefully compare such field measurements and conditions and other information known to or discovered by Design-Builder with information provided in the Contract Documents. Errors, inconsistencies or omissions discovered must be reported to City at once.

Field Measurements. A. Take field measurements at the site to verify or supplement indicated dimensions and to ensure proper coordination of all other construction items.

Field Measurements. A. Although care has been taken to ensure their accuracy, the dimensions shown for existing items and structures are not guaranteed. It is the responsibility of the General Contractor to verify these dimensions in the field before fabricating any construction component. No claims for extra payment due to incorrect dimensions will be considered by the Town of Wellesley.

Field Measurements. It is the responsibility of the Subcontractor to take field measurements to ensure the proper matching and fitting of its Work with existing conditions and the work of others and to point out any dimensioning errors on the Construction Documents before that relevant portion of the Work is commenced.

Field Measurements. The Contractor shall verify location and elevation of footings relative to finished grade, columns, and other construction contiguous with metal canopies by field measurements before fabrication and indicate measurements on shop drawings.

Field Measurements. A. Perform complete field measurements prior to purchasing products or beginning construction for products required to fit existing conditions. B. Verify property lines, control lines, grades, and levels indicated on the Drawings. C. Check Shop Drawings and indicate the actual dimensions available where products are to be installed. D. Include field measurements in Record Data as required in Article 26.

Field Measurements. Before undertaking each part of the construction, the CONTRACTOR shall carefully study and compare the Contract Documents and check and verify pertinent figures shown thereon and all applicable field measurements. The CONTRACTOR shall promptly report in writing to the COUNTY any conflict, error, or discrepancy that the CONTRACTOR or any of its subcontractors or Suppliers may discover and shall obtain a written interpretation or clarification from the COUNTY before proceeding with any Work affected. The CONTRACTOR shall remain liable to the COUNTY for failure to report any conflict, error, ambiguity, or discrepancy in the Contract Documents prepared by the CONTRACTOR.
