Flextime Schedules. An employee may make a written request to the employee's immediate supervisor for a flextime schedule. The supervisor will consider the needs of the employee and determine the impact of the request on the University's operating needs and forward a recommendation through appropriate channels to the appropriate vice chancellor for approval or disapproval. Requests shall be acted upon, and the employee shall be notified of such action, within fifteen (15) workdays of receipt by the immediate supervisor. Flextime schedules will not be used to forego lunch periods. Flextime schedules shall provide for at least a thirty minute mid-shift lunch break. It is understood that each request for a flextime schedule will be considered in relation to the number, extent, and character of submitted requests. Flextime schedules may be established for a specific period of time. Each flextime schedule will be reviewed on a regular basis by the appropriate vice chancellor. Flextime schedules may be changed or discontinued by the University to suit varying operational conditions. Flextime schedules will not be denied, changed, or canceled in an arbitrary or capricious manner. For the purposes of this section, employees who regularly or routinely work during open office hours (for example, on a weekend day or evening hours when the University or Office is open) are assumed to be on a regular schedule. This section is only applicable to requests that are outside the University’s regular operating hours.
Flextime Schedules a) Flextime is any schedule not solely made up of eight (8) hour shifts. All bargaining unit RNs who work flex time shall sign an agreement indicating that they will work this position. b) The Nurse Manager or Nurse Director/designee and nursing staff or any unit may investigate the implementation, revision or elimination of flextime scheduling on their unit. c) The Nurse Manager or Nurse Director/designee determines the number and hours of regular and flextime shifts required to meet the patient care needs of the unit. If in the judgment of the UMMS, scheduling is unsatisfactory or patient care needs are not being met, a Nurse Manager of Nurse Director/designee may eliminate flextime scheduling after six (6) weeks written notice to the affected nursing staff after review with Labor Management Committee. d) The Association will review any flextime scheduling plans prior to initiation, modification or elimination to insure that the collective bargaining agreement is being applied to these plans. This can be done at the Labor/Management meeting.
Flextime Schedules. Flextime schedules, based on a flextime schedule agreement may be made upon mutual agreement of the Department Head and affected employee.
Flextime Schedules. Employees may, with the approval of the Employer, be granted flextime scheduling for either temporary or permanent situations. In order to provide for a flexible workweek, the provisions for overtime or compensatory time and one-half after eight hours a day, as set forth in Section 2 of this Article, may be waived by mutual agreement between the Employer and the employee. However, the Employer may rescind approval for flextime schedules at the Employer's option.

  • Outage Schedules The Connecting Transmission Owner shall post scheduled outages of its transmission facilities on the NYISO OASIS. Developer shall submit its planned maintenance schedules for the Large Generating Facility to Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO for a minimum of a rolling thirty-six month period. Developer shall update its planned maintenance schedules as necessary. NYISO may direct, or the Connecting Transmission Owner may request, Developer to reschedule its maintenance as necessary to maintain the reliability of the New York State Transmission System. Compensation to Developer for any additional direct costs that the Developer incurs as a result of rescheduling maintenance, including any additional overtime, breaking of maintenance contracts or other costs above and beyond the cost the Developer would have incurred absent the request to reschedule maintenance, shall be in accordance with the ISO OATT. Developer will not be eligible to receive compensation, if during the twelve (12) months prior to the date of the scheduled maintenance, the Developer had modified its schedule of maintenance activities other than at the direction of the NYISO or request of the Connecting Transmission Owner.

  • Time Schedule 4.1. A project schedule is included in Appendix A. 4.2. Any delay of services or change in sequence of tasks must be approved in writing by Delaware. 4.3. In the event that Vendor fails to complete the project or any phase thereof within the time specified in the Contract, or with such additional time as may be granted in writing by Delaware, or fails to prosecute the work, or any separable part thereof, with such diligence as will insure its completion within the time specified in this Agreement or any extensions thereof, Delaware shall suspend the payments scheduled as set forth in Appendix A.

  • Voltage Schedules Once the Developer has synchronized the Large Generating Facility with the New York State Transmission System, NYISO shall require Developer to operate the Large Generating Facility to produce or absorb reactive power within the design capability of the Large Generating Facility set forth in Article 9.5.1 (Power Factor Design Criteria). NYISO’s voltage schedules shall treat all sources of reactive power in the New York Control Area in an equitable and not unduly discriminatory manner. NYISO shall exercise Reasonable Efforts to provide Developer with such schedules in accordance with NYISO procedures, and may make changes to such schedules as necessary to maintain the reliability of the New York State Transmission System. Developer shall operate the Large Generating Facility to maintain the specified output voltage or power factor at the Point of Interconnection within the design capability of the Large Generating Facility set forth in Article 9.5.1 (Power Factor Design Criteria) as directed by the Connecting Transmission Owner’s System Operator or the NYISO. If Developer is unable to maintain the specified voltage or power factor, it shall promptly notify NYISO.
